Phipsoo reserve

The Phipsoo Reserve (Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary) is a protected area in Bhutan .

The Phipsoo reserve is located in the south of the country (outlined in green)

It is located in the south of the country and protects the only Salwald stocks in the country. It is also home to the only axial deer population in Bhutan. In addition, tigers , elephants , gaure and golden langurs occur. The total area is 278 square kilometers.
