Phithadas

Phithadas was a Boeotian potter, active in the 1st half of the 6th century BC. Chr.

He is only known by his signature on two aryballoi :

  • Aryballos in the shape of a canteen, formerly the Tyszkiewicz collection
  • Ring-Aryballos Vienna, Kunsthistorisches Museum IV 1864
