Technical background

The photo optimization in the Photomizer consists of complex networked psychovisual and mathematical processes that allow the software to precisely analyze a photo, optimize it visually and make it appear visibly more realistic. This results in a reconstruction of the recording as it was originally perceived by the human eye , with selective object recognition at the same time ensuring that only the image parts recognized as relevant are optimized. Faces are recognized as components of the image and are factored in according to their relevance, incorrect exposures are compensated, colors are corrected and shadows are brightened. The software decides independently which image areas need to be optimized and how.

For the enlargement / reduction function, Photomizer uses u. a. the in-house development ODU (Object Detection Upscaling) , for which a four-fold enlargement of the original (with simultaneous quality improvement) is no problem according to the manufacturer. Processes such as Spline , Lanczos and Gaussian are also integrated.
