Physical mock-up

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A physical test model (P-VM) or physical mock-up (PMU) refers to a real test model on which functionalities are tested and problems are to be identified (see also prototype ).

In the course of a development and improvement, several expensive PMUs are necessary, which is why a digital mock-up (DMU) is used more and more nowadays , since modifications can be represented here quickly and cheaply.
