Lois Lowry
Lois Lowry (* 20th March 1937 in Honolulu , Hawaii as Lois Ann Hammerburg ) is an American author of numerous children's books, such as guardians of memory (Engl. The Giver ).
Her father was a military dentist who moved frequently. Lowry is u. a. grew up in New York , Pennsylvania and Tokyo . At the age of 19 she married an officer. Lois Lowry has four children.
