Piędź

Piędź was the span in the Polish system of measurement . The measure was the distance on the human hand from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the middle finger. The anthropomorphic unit of measure was small in range and imprecise. The measure varied between 19 and 22 centimeters .

• 1 piędź = 0.19831 meter = ⅓ cubit ( Łokieć ) = ½ foot ( stopa )
