Picnic at the Whitehouse
Picnic at the Whitehouse was a German-English synth pop duo, consisting of the singer Edwin "Eddie" Hind (* 1963 in Liverpool ) and the keyboardist Eckart "Illfo" Debusmann (* 1963 in Munich ). The two musicians met in a Munich studio. Her single We Need Protection went into the German charts in 1985 and reached number 36, later singles and the following album could no longer be placed. The band name was taken as a quote from a speech given by John F. Kennedy .
