Pierre Alféri
Pierre Alferi (* 1963 in Paris ) is a French writer , poet , essayist .
Life
Alferi was born in Paris as the son of the philosopher Jacques Derrida and the psychoanalyst Marguerite Aucouturier . He graduated from the University of Paris with a degree in philosophy and published his dissertation on Wilhelm von Ockham in 1989 . He has published several books in the field of poetry .
Alferi works with artists, musicians, painters and other poets. With the photographer Suzanne Doppel he co-founded the literary magazine Détail and with Olivier Cadio he founded La Revue de Littérature Générale . Alferi translates the work of John Donne , Giorgio Agamben and Meyer Schapiro into French.
