Pietro Carmine

Pietro Carmine , (born November 13, 1841 in Camparada , † 1913 in Milan ) was an Italian engineer and politician.

Life

Carmine studied engineering . In 1882 he was elected to the Camera dei deputati , where he joined the liberal-conservative group. From March to July 1896 he was Minister of Posts and Telegraphs under di Rudini, Minister of Finance under Pelloux from May 1899 to June 1900 and then Minister of Public Works in the Sonnino government . From 1902 to 1913 he was the chairman of the Milan Provincial Council, from 1910 to 1913 he was vice-president of the Camera dei deputati .

He published essays on railroad issues in the Nuova Antologia .
