Pig With the Face of a Boy
Pig With the Face of a Boy is a musical comedy duo from London , founded in 2008 by actor, singer and accordionist Dan Woods (born 1982) and actor and guitarist Donald Newholm . You describe yourself as a "neo-post-post-music hall anti-folk band"; they combine surreal-comic texts with music from catchy variety music and intelligent pop melodies.
The group became known through performances in London and Edinburgh. In 2009 her first album La La Ha Ha (Ó Records) was released.
The music video A Complete History of the Soviet Union as told by a humble worker, arranged to the melody of Tetris to the Russian song Korobeiniki was honored as best animation at the London Super Shorts International Film Festival 2010 and also received the "Low Budget Award".
