The Pillar Provincial Park is a little more than 2 ha small provincial park in Canada's British Columbia . The park is 11 kilometers west of Falkland in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District , bordering the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District .
The eponymous pillar is a hoodoo- like rock pillar around 20 meters high.

The park is located above Pillar Lake on the connecting road from Falkland to Chase . An approximately 250 meter long hiking trail leads from the road to the rock pillar.
The park is a category III protected area ( natural monument ).
history
As with almost all provincial parks in British Columbia, this one too was the habitat of various First Nations peoples , mainly the Secwepemc , long before the area was settled by European immigrants or before it became part of a park .
The park, along with a number of other parks, was founded on May 17, 2004 and is one of the smallest of the Provincial Parks in British Columbia .
