The Pilot Mountain State Park is a State Park in northwestern US state of North Carolina .
Located near Pinnacle , it covers a total area of around 15 km². It consists of two parts connected by a 10 km long corridor. The southern part is called flow range from Yadkin River flows through, the 427 m high peak located in the northern part in a mountain range of the mountain of the same Pilot Mountain . Since 1974 the area has been registered as a National Natural Landmark .
