Pilstulpe

The Pilstulpe is the traditional beer glass from which the Pils is drunk. It exists in different sizes from 0.2 liters. Pilstulpen for 0.3 liters, less often 0.5 l. It has a foot similar to that of a wine glass, the glass itself starts narrow at the bottom, whereby it either becomes wider and wider towards the top, or tapers again just above the middle.

In gastronomy, a punched collar made of thin absorbent paper, the Pils Doil , is usually placed around the stem of the glass .
