Piotr Mowlik (born April 21, 1951 in Orzepowice ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

Mowlik began his career in the youth departments of Zuch Orzepowice , ROW Rybnik and Unia Racibórz before joining Legia Warszawa in 1971 . Here he made his debut in the Ekstraklasa and secured the regular place in goal during his second season. In 1974 he was appointed to the Polish national team for the first time. In 1977 he moved to league competitor Lech Poznań where he played very successfully until the end of his career in 1983.

National team

For the Polish national football team , Piotr Mowlik completed 21 games and took part with Poland in the 1982 World Cup in Spain , where he and his team took third place.

His son Mariusz Mowlik and his nephew David Topolski are also professional footballers. His son Mariusz even played once for the Polish national soccer team.
