Pipot was a French measure of volume for honey and was derived from the wine measure in Bordeaux .
Since 6 pipots or 6 tiercons were calculated per ton, the calculated value was from the tonneau
- 1 pipot = 7664.66667 Parisian cubic inches = 154.6666 liters
- 1 tonneau / ton = 6 pipots
