Pirinsko pivo (colloquially often just Pirinsko , Bulgarian Пиринско пиво ) is a Bulgarian beer brand .

history

The Pirinsko Brewery was founded in Blagoevgrad in 1971 . The brewery has been part of the Carlsberg Group since 2002 and, together with the Shumensko brewery Carlsberg Bulgaria in the city of Shumen , forms a company with 580 employees and a market share of 27%. The brewery was named after the Pirin Mountains , from whose springs the brewery draws its water. The Pirinsko Brewery is the sponsor of the Pirin Blagoevgrad football club .
