Pit Bull is a brand of Pit Bull Anziehsachen GmbH from Frankfurt am Main .

From 1989 the brand owners sold their textiles in a shop on Allerheiligenstrasse. After the separation of the original owners, one of whom emigrated to the USA and founded a textile company there under the same name (Pit Bull West Coast), the previous GbR was converted into a GmbH . The managing directors are Achim Langer and Kaya Budak.

Pit Bull became a relatively popular brand in the second half of the 1990s. Many motifs and slogans convey, in keeping with the reputation of the Pit Bull Terrier as a " fighting dog ", a clear affinity for violence and thus a martial image. The sweaters, T-shirts and other items of clothing from the manufacturer printed with the brand name and the addition “Germany” or “Frankfurt” were accepted by young buyers. In addition to clothing, the company has expanded its range, including: a. on jewelry, decorative items, books, sound carriers and pet accessories.

According to the company, clothing with the Pit Bull brand was banned by the school management in several German schools. The latter associated the brand with neo-Nazism .
