Successor to the Pitts S2A, the Pitts S2B (LZ-AIR)

The Pitts S2A was at the time of its construction, the first two-seater aerobatic - airplane , really let fly with the full range of aerobatics. It is powered by a 200 HP boxer engine and is equipped with an inverted flight system for the oil and gasoline supply. Constructed from a fabric-covered tubular steel fuselage with wooden wings, the aircraft is a solid and proven technology.

One of the most famous replicas of the Pitts S2A is the two-seater Christen Eagle II, which only differs optically from the Pitts S2A in the more angular shape of the cowling and the slightly different shape of the rudder.
