Pittsburgh, Mars and Butler Railway

The Pittsburgh, Mars and Butler Railway (PM&B) was an American interurban railway company. It linked the Pennsylvania cities of Pittsburgh and Butler .

The company was formed in 1917 from the merger of the competing Pittsburgh and Butler Street Railway (Butler Short Line) and the Pittsburgh, Harmony, Butler and New Castle Railway Company (Harmony Short Line). The joint operation was under the parent company Pittsburgh, Butler & Harmony Consolidated Railway & Power Company. In 1928 it was renamed Harmony Short Line Railway, Bus, and Land Co., after bus services were also offered in addition to rail operations from 1922. Operations on the Butler Short Line ceased on April 22, 1931 and the Harmony Short Line on August 15, 1931.

The lines had a track width of 1587 mm (5 '2.5' '). People and goods were transported on the electrified lines.
