Plaice Iceland (of English plaice , flounder ' ) is an island off the Graham Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It belongs to the Fish Islands on the north side of the entrance to Holtedahl Bay and is west of Mackerel Island .

Participants of the British Graham Land Expedition (1934-1937) led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill mapped them. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1959 based on the name of the archipelago to which it belongs.
