Badge for model companies

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The plaque for model companies was issued on March 9, 1943, parallel to the wages medal for Romanian Labor, to encourage the creation and maintenance of social solidarity among economic enterprises, to support the feeling of work honor among employers and employees, and to promote the increase in the quantitative and qualitative levels of production donated by the Romanian Minister of Labor. In this context, the minister was authorized to award diplomas, prizes and awards and to organize regional competitions for the selection of workers and companies.

Award requirements

The plaque for model companies was awarded when the company had received more than three medals for Romanian Labor First Class for Special Merit. It thus represented an increase (and thus a higher value) compared to the medal. While the medal could be awarded at any time in the current year, the plaque was only awarded on May 1st of each year (the day of national work solidarity) as part of a large work rally , with the names of the companies published.

As with the medal's withdrawal regulations, the badge could also be withdrawn if, on the basis of inspections by the inspection body of the organization Arbeit und Licht, it was found that the company or company only had a maximum of three first class medals.
