Plants For A Future is a UK non-profit organization based in Dawlish that is engaged in the cultivation and conservation of useful and edible plants . Such plants are being grown on an experimental basis in south-west England . An online catalog is maintained from which some of the plants can be obtained. The main focus of the non-profit organization is on perennial , perennial plants.

The website contains an online database of around 7000 plants that can be grown in the UK (or regions with comparable climates). The collection was created by Ken Fern and can be used online free of charge, downloaded for a fee or purchased on CD. The database is often cited because of its size and quality.

The organization participates in the public discussion by publishing books. The members have attended various conferences and are also participants in the International Permaculture Research Project .
