Platnum is a three-piece British garage house band from Manchester .
Band history
Platnum first appeared in a local competition called Urban Superstars in 2004 and subsequently made a name for itself in the niche / bassline house scene in northern England. Their first release was Over the Heartache in 2006 and was named "Tune of the Year" at the Bassline Awards.
The trio was founded in 2008 known nationwide as they vocals for the hit song What's It Gonna Be the DJ duo H Two O contributed. The song rose to number 2 on the UK charts. A few months later they had their first own hit with Love Shy , a remake of a 1998 song by Kristine Blond .
