Playa Verde is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the Maldonado department in sector 5 . Playa Verde borders the coast of the Río de la Plata in the southwest , while Playa Hermosa is located in the southeast and Las Flores connects to the northwest . The Cerro de los Burros rises in the vicinity of Playa Verde .
