Pleisthenes

Pleisthenes is the name of several figures in Greek mythology :

  • The most famous Pleisthenes was a son of Pelops and Hippodameia and brother of Atreus and Thyestes, perhaps also a son of Atreus; see Pleisthenes (Pelopid) .
  • Pleisthenes (son of Menelaus) one of the sons of Menelaus and Helena , whom they may have taken with them to Troy when they were abducted through Paris.
  • a son of Akastus who, together with a brother, drove Peleus from Iolkos.
