Plotutils is a collection of command line applications and program libraries for creating graphs based on data sets. Plotutils includes a library called libplot that converts 2D vector graphics into popular graphics formats, such as PNG , SVG or PostScript . In addition to the library, Plotutils also contains several command line applications to generate graphics from data in various formats. In addition, plotutils contains a program for the numerical solution of differential equations .

Plotutils is available in many Linux distributions. So z. B. Debian or Fedora . Plotutils is used, for example, in academia to visualize results.
