Plutonium Police
Plutonium Police was a paperback series published by Erich Pabel Verlag from 1978 to 1980 with a total of 28 volumes.
The series started on April 28, 1978 with the subtitle Der neue Atomkrimi: Red hot, up-to-date, informative . The books were written by German authors under English-sounding pseudonyms. The first author was Willi Schoenebeck , who wrote at least two novels under the publishing pseudonym Eliot Spencer. Further pseudonyms and the corresponding authors were:

- Al Frederic = Holger Friedrichs (3 titles)
- Kelly Kevin = Susanne Wiemer (2 titles)

The volumes were published every four weeks, the length was about 160 pages and the price 3.80 DM. The cover pictures were designed by Nikolai Lutohin.
In terms of content, the volumes moved in the border area between crime thriller , techno thriller and science fiction . Each case involved a case that had to do with some form of nuclear technology and was solved by the six agents of the Plutonium Police , who came from six different countries.
