Headframe: landmark of the pm

The pm disco was a large-capacity disco in Moers . It covers an area of 5000 m² and a total of ten adventure areas. This makes it one of the largest discos in North Rhine-Westphalia . The discotheque is located on the former site of the coal mine Rheinpreußen 4 . After the shaft was closed, the headframe was retained as a memorial and landmark, placed under industrial monument protection and has since served as the entrance and bar area of the discotheque. A bridge leads from the bar in the winding tower to the large adventure areas Triple P (trance, dance floor), boulevard , luster (soul, R'n'B, funk) and the studio (party classics, 80s, rock, pop, reggae) . The House Club is located on the third level of the headframe building. Ulrich Weber is the managing director.

Closure of the discotheque

At the beginning of 2014 it was announced that the discotheque will close its doors at the end of February 2014. According to the managing director, the reason for this decision is the decline in visitor numbers. After the closure, the discotheque will be rebuilt. A smaller dance floor, a sports bar and an integrated mini golf area are to be built in place of the PM after the renovation work.

The discotheque (PM Gaststättenbetriebs GmbH) filed for bankruptcy on August 17, 2015, almost one and a half years after the renovation and restart as PM-Park.
