Pocari sweat
Pocari Sweat ( Japanese ポ カ リ ス エ ッ ト , Pokari Suetto ) is a Japanese isotonic soft drink made by the Ōtsuka Seiyaku . The drink has been sold since 1980. It is sold in 14 countries including Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. In the western world it can be bought in many Asian shops.
Pocari Sweat advertises itself as an ion supply drink . It contains water, sugar, flavor enhancers, acids, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lactates and magnesium carbonates. It is sold in both liquid and powder forms.
