Pocket God is a game developed by Bolt Creative for the iPhone , iPod touch, and Android . It was designed by Allan Dye and programmed by Dave Castelnuovo. Pocket God was released on January 9, 2009.
Gameplay
Pocket God is a god simulation , so the player largely has control over the game world, in this case an island. The primitive islanders - the pygmies - are exposed to the divine powers of the player. These god powers range from harmless powers (e.g. equipping an islander with a fishing rod), some destructive ( conjuring up a hurricane ), to just plain entertaining (floating a pygmy in the air). With the help of the motion sensor integrated in the iPhone / iPod touch, gravity and earthquakes can be simulated. Most of these functions can be switched on or off in the game's menu. By March of the Fire Ants -Update was additionally OpenFeint added, which help to players in ranked compare or to chat.
Episodes
The special thing about Pocket God is that new functions are always added via updates at set times, such as: B. new islands, items or mini-games.
