Policy network

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Policy network is a term from political science that describes a network of influential political actors . A policy network is formed in clearly defined policy fields . Exchanging information and resources, observing common conventions and rules and a common understanding of the problem often result in a more or less stable relationship pattern.

In contrast to the more general policy network, the term policy network only describes those networks that are formed within the legal political decision-making structures in a specific policy field.
