Polly's Chapel

Polly's Chapel is a Methodist chapel northeast of the Texas city of Bandera .

The settler and Texas ranger Policarpo Rodriguez (1829-1914) built the chapel himself in 1882 from field stones after he came to Privilege Creek in 1858 and converted there to the Methodist faith. He and his father preached in the chapel.

In 1965 the chapel was declared a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark .
