The Polo Park is the largest shopping center in Winnipeg , Manitoba , Canada .

The shopping center is a few minutes' drive from downtown Winnipeg. In addition to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes there is also a cinema.

history

The center was opened in 1959. It has been covered since 1963. In 1968 it was expanded for 7.5 million Canadian dollars and became the second largest shopping center in Canada. In 1986, Polo Park was expanded to include a second floor for 75 million Canadian dollars. In 2007 the mall was renovated for 30 million dollars and expanded by 1900 m². In 2014 the Polo Park was expanded again by 10,591 m² for 49 million Canadian dollars.
