history

Polonia 1 was the first private broadcaster to receive a nationwide license in Poland in 1993, and started on March 7, 1993 based on 12 regional broadcasters. Since then, they have broadcast a common program block every day. Polonia 1 lost its license in 1994 in favor of Polsat because the station did not comply with legal regulations. The station, which belongs to Eurocast Italia from Milan, has been broadcasting with an Italian license since then and can only be received via the digital platform of the Hotbird satellite (Eutelsat).
