Polycarp II

Polycarp II († around 144 ) was Bishop of Byzantion . According to some sources, he is said to have been in office for 17 years, according to Nikephoros Kallistos, a credible chronicler, his term of office was only 3 years; it is usually the year 141 dated -144. Like his predecessors, Polycarp was buried in a marble coffin. His successor was Athenodorus .
