The Tehuelches Department ( Spanish ) is located in the west of the Chubut Province in southern Argentina and is one of the 15 administrative units in the province.
It borders in the north on the Departamento Languiñeo , in the east on the Departamento Paso de Indios , in the south on the Departamento Río Senguer and in the west on Chile .
