The Polytechnische Schule Perg is a polytechnic school (Austria) in Perg .

history

In 1966/67 polytechnic courses were introduced following attending secondary school and in 1977 an independent polytechnic school was set up. In 2003, the Perg Polytechnic moved into the new building in the school center. In the school year 2008/09 the number of students was 150. There were 23 teachers at the school.

The directors were Alois Angerer from 1977 and Josef Haderer from 1981. From 1989 Lothar Grubich directed the school. Ludmilla Lumesberger has been director since 2011.

Educational work, equipment and offers

The training opportunities include options in the fields of construction, services, electronics, trade & office, wood, information technology, metal and tourism. Perg is the only school in the Perg district where students in all eight departments are grouped together after a three-week career orientation phase.

The Polytechnic School Perg has 6 classes of the 9 grade with 127 students. (Status: 2014/15)

In 2009 the school was nominated for the Austrian School Prize.
