Pommfritz is an Upper Swabian band. The formation was founded in 1982 and currently consists of five musicians. Pommfritz is known for her songs with Swabian dialect.

With over 150,000 records sold and over 1,000 live concerts, Pommfritz has achieved cult status in southern Germany. In 2012 the band celebrated their 30th anniversary on the market square in Biberach an der Riss . VfB Stuttgart is also building on the connection to Swabia . In 2013 Radio7 called on its listeners for the club's new anthem, which Pommfritz won with the hit Mir in the south of Germany .
