Pont dels Escalls

Pont dels Escalls is a historic bridge in the Andorran municipality of Escaldes-Engordany . It is located on the old road from Andorra la Vella to Engordany , just before the confluence of the Valira del Norte and the Valira de Orient river .
The arch bridge that spans the river is made of rough stone, while the rest of the wall is made of stones of different origins that are bonded with lime mortar.
The upper part is flat, has a paved sidewalk and originally two stone railings. An additional metal railing was installed later.
The construction, which is dated from 1881, is considered to be particularly worthy of protection and was included in the list of Bienes de Interés Cultural (BIC) in 2003.
