Ponte Amerigo Vespucci

The Ponte Amerigo Vespucci is a bridge for road traffic in Florence . It spans the Arno . It was built from 1955 to 1957 according to plans by Riccardo Morandi . It is named after Amerigo Vespucci , who came from Florence.
