Poreotics
Poreotics , also known as Poreotix , is a dance company based in Westminster , California . Current members are: Matt (Dumbo) Vinh Quan Nguyen, Charles Viet Nguyen, Can Trong Nguyen, Lawrence (Law) Bravo Devera, Justin (Jet Li) Victor Valles and Andrew-Chad (Chad) Fausto Mayate. The group was founded in 2007 and specializes in popping , choreography and robotics. The name consists of the three properties in English (popping, choreography and robotics = Po-reo-tics). You have performed in numerous hip hop competitions. In 2009 they won the Hip Hop Dance Championships. But arguably the most important competition was America's Best Dance Crew's fifth season , in which they took 1st place.
They are known for their dark sunglasses, which they wear to (almost) every gig. Jet-Li said they wear the glasses because it has more character. When asked about it by the host of America's Best Dance Crew , Can Nguyen had said, "Okay, it's because we're Asians and we have the little eyes ... well, and we like robots."

Poreotics was founded in Westminster, California by Matt (Dumbo) Nguyen, Can Nguyen and Charles Nguyen in December 2007. Lawrence (Law) Devera and Justin (Jet-Li) Valles were later added. In 2009 the team decided to replace Chad Mayate for Justin Valles in the 2009 Hip Hop Dance Championships . The team took first place and Chad Mayate got a permanent place on the team. Five of them (Dumbo, Can, Charles, Law, and Chad) were also members of the PAC Modern Dance Troup .
