Portakabin

Portakabins are modular and portable buildings with a steel frame that conform to the building codes of a permanent building.

They are manufactured in a factory and then brought to the installation site by low-loader. Portakabins are used as offices, schools, hospitals, sales buildings, toilets and canteens. They are sold or rented turnkey. It is actually a brand name of the British company Portakabin, but colloquially the name is incorrectly used for similar transportable buildings from other manufacturers such as e.g. B. Terrapin used.
