Portal Tomb by Owning

The tilted Portal Tomb of Owning (locally called "Druids Altar") is located about 50 m west of the River Pil, south of three hills in the Townland Owning ( Irish Ónainn ) near Piltown in the west of County Kilkenny in Ireland .

The 1.6 m long portal stones have fallen forward and the oval cap stone, which measures approximately 2.0 m × 1.8 m, is supported by the side stones and the end stone. A small door stone blocks access to the north-east facing chamber.
