Portal robot

Gantry robots are an efficient variant for the automation of production processes by means of robot technology . Loading from above (e.g. via hatches ) ensures that the machine remains accessible. This is particularly important for set-up processes and monitoring activities .

Line portal

Linear gantries are the simplest variant of a gantry robot. The points to be approached with the gripper lie in one axis. The portal slide is responsible for the horizontal movement on the main axis, the vertical movement is carried out by the portal arm.

Cantilever portal

In some cases it is necessary to carry out an additional movement orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the portal. In the case of short distances or relatively low part weights, this is achieved using cantilever portals . A cantilever arm is mounted on the main slide, which in turn carries the portal arm with the gripper.

Area portal

Area portal system

If large spatial areas are to be covered, surface portals are used. The portal arm can also be positioned anywhere over a large area.

H-loader

With the H-Loader, 2 independent arms with grippers are arranged in parallel on one axis. The distance between the arms is fixed. This arrangement is used, for example, for long shaft parts where a swivel gripper can no longer be used sensibly.

Combination of portal and industrial robot

This special series combines the advantages of linear units that expand the work area with the enormous potential of the latest 6-axis robotics. The industrial robot can be mounted both overhead and sideways. A wide variety of portal variants and a linear unit specially tailored to individual production requirements ensure that the best automation system is used for each production process.
