Portuguese ice hockey league
The Portuguese Ice Hockey League is the highest league of ice hockey in Portugal . The league was played for the first and only time in the 2000/01 season. All games took place in the Palácio do Gelo in Viseu .

In the main round, each of the three teams played a total of eight games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
