Positive science
A positive science , including descriptive science , in contrast to a normative science, is a science that is independent of metaphysical and religious specifications and relates to a practical task. It describes what is , and not what its intended ( value judgment freedom spostulat of Max Weber ).
The natural sciences are an example of this .
