Potamids
Potamids or potamids ( Greek Ποταμηΐδες potamëides , also Ποταμίδες potamides , from Greek ποταμός "river") are nymphs of rivers in Greek mythology . They are closely connected to the waters belonging to them. If a potamid dies, its river dries up.
