Preedema

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Präödem (Syn .: latent edema ) is not designated or barely visible water retention in the tissues without changes in body contours. This accumulation can be up to 4 liters. The corresponding weight gain is noticeable; the patients find the tension in the skin uncomfortable. Objectively, a certain plumpness of the skin (without any noticeable indentability) can also be demonstrated.
