President-directeur général

The Président-directeur général ( PDG abbreviation ) is the title of the head of a company in France.

The title consists of:

  1. directeur général general director and thus the highest operational manager (in Germany comparable to the chairman of the board of directors ( stock corporation ) or the chairman of the management board (GmbH))
  2. président (... du conseil d'administration) : President of the board of directors, comparable in Germany to the corporate advisory board or supervisory board (representatives of the shareholders)
