The Praga A150 was a light truck that was developed by Škoda in 1939 and 182 units were built by 1942. The designation indicates the payload (1.5 t). As large-scale industry was nationalized in 1945 and the new socialist government had designated the Škoda works for other tasks, the production of this truck was transferred to the Praga works . A prototype was built in 1946, 610 vehicles each in 1947 and 1948, 750 in 1949, 1170 in 1950 and 330 in 1951, for a total of 3471 vehicles.

The truck weighed 1,350 kg empty and had a payload of 1.5 t, was 5.335 m long and 1.93 m wide, the wheelbase was 2.90 m.
